Hello there! I’m Deborah, a North Somerset-based writer and mum of boys with a love of candles, spookiness, books, travel, sunshine, old school house, woodland walks (and country pubs!). I also love a short course…short story writing…herbs…embroidery…and completed my BA majoring in Communications and Sociology through distance learning. At the moment, I’m trying to advance my long, long ago-learnt GCSE French.
Originally, I’m from Hampshire near the beautiful New Forest but in recent years, we have lived in Essex, and when the boys were super-little, were based in Australia, Hong Kong, then Abu Dhabi – which was perfect for my ever-present wanderlust!
My articles have been published in print and on websites which include PopSugar, Happiful, Soul and Spirit, Kidspot, Essential Baby and the Telegraph Online. My own poems have featured on BBC radio and recently, in The People’s Friend magazine.
And for as long as I can remember, I’ve loved nothing more than putting pen to paper to create magical poems! Then a few years ago, I started to tailor personalised poems for family and friends who sought unique, personalised wedding readings that told their own story and my bespoke poetry writing service grew from there.
Poem Bespoke can help make events such as birthdays, weddings, parties and even funerals, that touch more special. I can also provide practical verse for your wedding or party invites or simply help you share your feelings with your favourites. Your personalised poem can be contemporary, romantic or humorous, or a bit of everything – it’s really up to you. And if you’re not a fan of rhyme – no worries. 🙂
Please check out the Process & Pricing page to get the lowdown on how the process works and feel free to reach out via email or phone. I will reply with some simple questions to find out what you wish to include and the tone you would like to convey, to create your very own personalised poem.
